The Hobart 916618/EDOUGH-HL30AL is an NSF Approved aftermarket version of the 30 & 40 Quart Spiral Dough Hook (ED style dough arm) for use with the Hobart Legacy HL300 mixer and with 30-quart or 40-quart mixing bowls on the HL400 mixer. Made of cast aluminum, this is the agitator type you need for optimal performance while mixing heavy doughs for bread, pizza, etc.
